Tier Three of the Bright Futures Fund is for funding amounts greater than $50,000 and up to $250,000, excluding GST.
Tier Four of the Bright Futures Fund is for funding amounts greater than $250,000, excluding GST.

To assist you to make this assessment, further information on the criteria is listed below.
The five eligible local government areas are:
- Burnie City Council
- Central Coast Council
- Kentish Council
- Meander Valley Council
- Northern Midlands Council
Your project must take place in at least one of the above local government areas.
Identified Community Groups:
An identified community group includes a demographic group, a minority group or a disadvantaged group.
Focus Areas:
The six focus areas of the Fund are:
- Emotional, mental and physical health
- Preserve, benefit and enhance the environment
- Community infrastructure and accessibility to community service, including transport
- Community arts initiatives, including events
- Skills, training and education
- Encouraging a sense of community
Your project must address at least one of our focus areas.
Core Values:
The four core values are:
- Inclusion - supporting participation by, and delivering benefit for, the broadest, most diverse group of people possible
- Accessibility - addressing participation barriers, such as physical access, language and literacy, amongst others
- Lasting impact - generating ongoing benefits that continue after the project has been delivered
- Environmental sustainability - delivery of a project to have regard for and address/limit its environmental impact.
